Assessment and Reporting Calendar
At both Key Stages, 3 and 4, parents and students are supported through a series of reports home and Parents Evenings.
There will be one Parents’ Evening for each year group, each year.
Each year group also has three reports sent home each year. This will show the following:
Key Stage 3
Their ‘Target grade’ for the End of Year 9 - as a flight path grade eg ‘Meeting most of the knowledge and skills expected for Year 9’
An ‘MRA’ or Most Recent Assessments - as a flight-path grade, reflecting the assessments and test run during that assessment period. On the report, each subject will describe the range of assessments they have based this on.
A grade for Behaviour, Effort, Homework, and Equipment
Their attendance
Key Stage 4
Their ‘Target grade’ for the End of Year 11 - as a GCSE grade
An ‘MRA’ or Most Recent Assessments - as a GCSE grade, reflecting the assessments and tests run during that assessment period. On the report, each subject will describe the range of assessments they have based this on.
A grade for Behaviour, Effort, Homework, and Equipment
Their attendance
At Key Stage 4, parents will also receive written comments as part of one of these reports
